ABBA
Abba is an old Aramaic word for father. And its not a formal word. It's naturally spoken at home, by children, and by grown sons and daughters who have an intimate relationship with their own. It's the word Jesus used when he prayed.
For some of us, its equivalent is not in our language or qord choice. We have to learn through experience what this word means through seasons of not being proud of who we are, knowing where we're going, or where we belong. But in Jesus' story these troubles always had an answer, wrapped in the fact he is always called "son", by the Father.
That is the root of everything made here.
x ME
In fashion, an "x" between two names means a collaboration. Two hands on one piece.
ABBA x ME is exactly that: a collaboration between a Father and a son. Every piece begins in my sketchbook as a lesson we've lived, then gets architected slowly until a garment can carry it. A line sewn where only the wearer will find it. A tag that reads in His hand.
Each release is a chapter of fashion telling your narrative.
Small batches, big concepts.
